April 8th, 4PM CET: LTBI Screening Programmes for Migrants

The Union TB and Migration group is happy to announce a new event.

Ioana Margineanu, PhD candidate at the University Medical Centrum Groningen, has recently completed a study on LTBI programmes for migrants in Europe.

The study was a survey of national level TB experts from the 32 countries of the EU/EEA and Switzerland. The survey investigated implementation and current approaches to LTBI screening in recently arrived migrants in the EU/EEA and Switzerland.

During this event, Ioana will briefly present the results of the survey, describe the methods used, the opportunities and challenges identified and open the floor for a debate on this topic.
