the union tb and migration group

focuses on tuberculosis (TB) among migrants during all parts of their journey, considering epidemiology and risk factors in countries of origin, during transit and after arrival in countries of destination and their potential return. It takes a holistic approach, emphasising determinants of health and access to care during all migration phases. The working group supports research and its dissemination and promotes this emerging and under researched field through webinars, symposia, conferences and scientific papers and has a role in informing policy and position papers within the union.
